Giniling Bowls



Serves 6
Difficulty: intermediate

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pork, grounded 
  • tortilla wraps 
  • 3 medium potatoes, cubed 
  • 1 small carrot, cubed 
  • 1 small red bell pepper, diced 
  • 1 small green bell pepper, diced 
  • 4 garlic gloves, mashed 
  • 1 medium onion, chopped 
  • 2 pcs calamansi, juiced 
  • 1 tsp. black pepper, grounded 
  • 1 tsp. sugar, granulated 
  • 1 small can tomato sauce 
  • 1 cup water 
  • cooking oil


  • Garnish: (optional) 
  • garbanzos, raisins, pickles, cheese, sausage, avocados, mangoes, tomatoes, eggs

  •  Marinade: (optional)
  • 2 bay leaves 
  • 1 cup 7UP 
  •  4 tablespoons soy sauce 
  • 2 tablespoons juice (2 pcs calamansi) 
  • ground black pepper

  •  Seasoning: (optional)
  • onion and garlic powder
  • tomato powder
  • cane sugar
  • lemon pepper 

Preparations:

1. Sauté garlic and onion. brown and crystallized
2. Add the ground pork, fry and cover. 5 min.
3. Add tomato sauce, water, boil and simmer. 20 min.
4. Add potatoes, carrots, cook covered. 10 min.
5. Add bell peppers and flavor with lemon, pepper, sugar, stir. 5 min.
6. Garnish with raisins, cheese and add boiled eggs.
7. Scoop mix into the tortilla bowls.
8. Top with avocados, mangoes, tomatoes
9. Serve with rice.
