Meatloaf

Grandpy Meatloaf 



Serves 6
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

    1 pound ground beef
    2 eggs
    1 onion, chopped (sauté in butter w garlic)
    1/2 cup milk (opt)
    1 cup bread crumbs
    garlic and pepper powder (salt)
    worcestershire sauce
    bbq sauce
    cooking spray or butter

  • Sauce:  
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    2 bbq sauce
    1/3 cup ketchup

  • Preparations:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion, milk, worces and breadcrumbs.
3. Season with salt and pepper and place in a lightly buttered baking dish.
4. In a separate small bowl, mix brown sugar, bbq sauce and ketchup and spread evenly over the meatloaf.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1.5 hours or meat temperature is 160F or 170F. (see table below).

- Medium-rare 145°F
- Medium 160°F
- Well-done 170° F
