Travel Tips 101

How to maximize your travel abroad without hazzles?

This article will provide some travel tips from booking a flight, planning your itinerary, packing your belongings, traveling do's and dont's and many more ...

Tip # 1: Hire a Travel Agent.

Afterall it is free. Your travel is a breeze if you hire a travel Agent. This is like your lifeline from the time you plan your trip up, to the time you are enjoying your vacation, to the time you get home safe and refresh. Most of them provide free services because they get commissions, free airlines tickets, free cruise passes, free hotels and accommodations and many more. What is best about having an agent, you are worry free.

Tip # 2: Plan where to go places.

For example, if you have plans to go to both Seaworld, Universal studios and Premium Outlets, the best place to stay is at DoubleTree hotel by Hilton. It is at 5780 Major Blvd,Orlando, Florida. The place is so convenient since Universal Studio is just a walking distance. Fine dining, high-end shopping and waterparks, museums and other attractions are accessible by public transportation known as iTroley. The fare is $2 each. A one day pass costs $5 each which can take you just like the hop out and hop in bus. anywhere you please the whole day but do not forget their schedule of hours which is just on the side of the hotel not bad all is near the hotel. if you plan to walk to Universal Studio it is fine but if you want to avail of the shuttle pick up check with front desk and pay $6 for back and forth ride. If you have no transportation to take you from your hotel to airport or vice versa, you can avail MEARS Shuttle service. It costs only $56 back and forth. This is much cheaper instead of taking a taxi cab.

However, if you are going to Walt Disney World, Florida, USA, better book a hotel inside the resort. You will know later what I mean when you get there. :) The Walt Disney World Resort features four theme parks: Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot, plus two water parks: Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and over 20 resort hotels and restaurants as well, all in one roof.

Tip # 3: Use google maps to see your itinerary in 3D.

This is the map of  Rome, Italy. To maximize your time and cover a huge areas of tourist attractions, use a map to guide you which places you want to go first. List them down and find the best route to get their quicker. Be ready also to find the locations where they are well known for in terms of food. Try it!

When we were in Rome we opted for a tour guide instead. This save you time when it comes of lining up for a ticket. You will also cover lots of places where secret streets and doors are accessible to get you from one place or another in a shorter time and quicker. When we were in Greece, we opted for a Taxi. We contracted a driver for a whole day tour, telling him all the places we want to go, and pay him later when the whole trip is consummated. Again, too many fun surprises. A third option is to get in a Hop In Hop Off Bus. This will provide you an at-your-own-pace convenience city sightseeing and it also covers lots of tourists attractions as well.

Tip # 4: Read reviews on travel sites and forums.

Go to well known online sites like Trivago or Trip Advisor to find travel reviews.

Tip # 5: Bring only what is necessary and important

Here are the things that I take with me every time we travel around the world: (1) carry on accessories, (2) electronics gadgets, (3) photography gears, and (4) luggage necessities. To find out the details of what these stuffs are, go to my article about My Travel Accessories.
